Property was amazing! Breakfast right on the water was a highlight. Our room was right near the oceanfront patio, which we loved using.

The hotel charged for absolutely everything. The restaurant was not part of the hotel and when I asked for one more cup of coffe during breakfast they charged 3 dollars without telling me so I found out when we checked out. They charged 20 dollars for getting us a taxi to the Airport (we had stayed in another hotel (Las Ninfas) before this hotel and they charged nothing for the same service just a couple of days earlier.

One friendly and helpful reception staff
I was assigned a room right at the staircase right above the reception. Noise at midnight was not handled. No phone in the room to ask for them to do something about it.

The hotel facilities themselves were lovely. The hotel is built right up on the water's edge. The hotel is a series of buildings kind of built into mangroves, so it's a really cool facility. The restaurant has a deck that allows for outdoor dining literally right on the water, which is really pleasant and a great way to start the day. The hotel is also really ideally situated in town.
It's kind of right on the edge of where a lot of the restaurants and shops are - you can be right on the main strip within a 5 minute walk, but it's also a little more quiet than being right in the middle of the nightlife. It's also situated on the way to the Darwin Research Station, so if that's on your list of things to do, it's easily accessible by foot. The rooms were fairly basic but had everything that was needed. There was surprisingly good water pressure and hot water, and the air conditioner worked excellently. The wifi was hit or miss, and not super reliable, but that seems to be more a circumstance of being on a remote island than necessarily a reflection of the quality of the wifi at the hotel. The food was pretty excellent. Breakfast was great - made to order with a few options to choose from that included coffee, juice, pastries, eggs, and some sides. Really excellent breakfast and a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy the views over the water.
My major issue with the hotel related to the staff - in particular the Experiences Manager. In general, the staff were great, welcoming, and helpful with any requests we had while on site. However, we had a really poor experience with the Experiences Manager prior to our arrival that in some ways ended up ruining our whole trip to the Galapagos. I travel a lot and this was truly one of the worst experiences I have ever had with customer service in the hospitality industry. I planned this trip only a couple weeks ahead of time because I found myself in the area on a last minute work trip. Unfamiliar with how day trips/tours work from Puerto Ayora, I reached out to the hotel to get some advice/recommendations about reliable tour companies to help arrange some day trips to other islands. I was referred to the Experiences Manager of the hotel who insisted that she could help book any of our day trip needs, sent some options, and mentioned a few times about the need to book asap because trips fill up. However, she was incredibly unresponsive - days would go by without hearing from her - and in the end she didn't book us on a single trip. I found it particularly frustrating because she not only did not book us on any trips but she wasted a lot of valuable time when we could have been exploring other options. We ended up missing out on a couple of the island trips that we really wanted to go on, that were available when we first reached out. Ultimately our trip was kind of ruined by this experience, not just missing out on day trips but also from the stress and frustration that came from the interactions with the Experiences Manager. I still recommend the hotel- it is lovely and ideally located- just a warning to not put trust in the Experiences Team to arrange parts of your trip. Hopefully this can prevent some future disappointment.

Great location, very clean, spacious, the restaurant inside the hotel was amazing but my favorite part was the staff front the front desk! They were just AMAZING!

The location is really special, perched up on the rocks and above the sea and mangrove - you can see the wildlife from your window. It’s a short walk away from the Charles Darwin station and a local beach which is perfect to spend time with the kids.
The staff were helpful and cordial.
The travel cot I requested for my baby had a mattress that was too big in it, which created a hammock like space for her. I had to have it taken out (and noticed it was really dirty and stained), and she spent the next four days sleeping on top of a folded up duvet. At this price point, it’s unacceptable to not have a suitable arrangement for babies.
The breakfast was uninspiring, with the scarce fruit chopped up way too small and the rest of it feeling like it wasn’t prepared with much attention to detail - undercooked eggs, burnt bacon, and pancakes from a box mix.
The room felt a lot less luxurious than I anticipated. The rain leaked through the doors and the quality of the furnishings just didn’t feel like much care went into them.

The hotel is located at the outskirts of Puerto Ayora. There are really nice views from the room. There are bikes provided by the hotel to drive around the port. The hotel personnel was very friendly and helped with tours / transports. The restaurant of the hotel provides excellent food (not included).
The hotel has already aged and this shows, we would have expected that a renovation would have happened. Breakfast was nice but a little bit limited (especially if you stay several days). Price is rather expensive but this is perhaps Galápagos bound.

Excellent location, close to the little beach at the Darwin Centre for a swim each morning. A fabulous terrace for dining. Each day we have enjoyed watching pelicans, sea lions, a sea turtle, lots of marine iguanas, some finches and other wildlife all whilst dining. A beautiful view out over the marina and town. Good rooms and really helpful staff. We organised for some of our luggage to stay here in-between trips to other islands. Good facilities and standard of decoration. Wonderful restaurant on site that we have eaten at several times in the evening. Any issues such as a damaged plug were resolved immediately. The staff have all been so kind and helpful.

two night running I have been kept awake until 3 am with the really really loud music and singing from the local restaurant turned into a night club . The staff can do nothing but tell you they will call the police.

Scenery, service, staff and location. Patty was unbelievable in making sure we had a very special time on the islands. Restaurant maybe was one of the best on the island we had a chance to visit.

There was a little confusion paying between the hotel and the restaurant we still have to sort out but minimal. We loved both!!

Beautiful location on the water, short walk to anything in town, but just a block or two away from nighttime noise, so very peaceful.
Not much to dislike… it’s a lovely little boutique hotel.

The stuff is very nice and helpful. Loved our breakfasts down in the restaurant, you sit there, eat and just near you in the water you can see passing by baby sharks, sea lions, turtles, pelicans, sting rays, just amazing! We really enjoyed our time in this hotel

Great breakfast! Location was great too.
No way to get English on the TV. Inquired about this several times.

The location was very good . I personally think that the rooms are far too small for the price and what we booked on your website . we manage to get a upgrade to a suite . so it was ok .
Ronald and the team are amazing 🤩
