Close to the job.
I got a single room, on the top floor, on the hottest day of the year!!!. No fans available. The room was like an oven. No place to hang your clothes. An old dining chair was only seat. Bedside lamp had to go on the floor as there was not enough for a bedside cabinet. Not very accessible plug sockets or enough!
The breakfast however, was very good.

Staff were superb, they genuinely made effort to ensure our stay was comfortable, we arrived 10 mins before kitchen close but it was no problem at all for the bar team / host to take our order whilst we took our luggage to our rooms then came back and was seated to eat.
Only negative was the shower, it took 10 mins to warm up and was also set a little to low, as a 6ft 3 male I really struggled to wash anything above my shoulders.

Room was nice and quite a good size.
Requested a check in at 14.00 as going to a festival near by, Hotel accepted the request but on checking in we had to wait until 15.00 to get a key and missed the start of the festival. We booked Sunday lunch on the basis of the early check in so that was £75.00 wasted. Sunday lunch was overpriced for the portion size. Breakfast is included but was not to our taste.
