Ideal location, easy to get to will keep in my for future trips

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Bar and dining area were very welcoming, breakfast was good. The room was very spacios as was the bathroom. We were attending a gig at the Town Hall so the location was perfect.

The double glazing does not keep the street sounds out. It sounds like the windows are open when they're not. took 3 attempts to get down to reception as each time lifts were full. Finding the stairs in the end was not easy

Would not recommend this hotel due to cleaniness and condition of the rooms (at least 2nd floor).

The check-in was quite nice. Also the breakfast was good.

The cleaniness of the rooms and the general condition of the rooms/hallways were poor. There were hair on the bed sheets, hair on the tiles of the bathroom. The bathroom smells a bit like mold. Everywhere were cracks or scratches - the door handles not properly secured. Curtains were also not in good shape. I didnt felt comfortably to stay in my room.

4 sterren service in een (max) 3 sterren verblijf.

Het personeel bij de receptie was erg behulpzaam. staan voor hun gasten klaar op een prima manier met volop servicegerichtheid. ook worden de kamers goed schoongemaakt. de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes zijn prima in orde en de locatie van het hotel is echt super! prima voor een weekendje waarin je niet veel tijd in je hotel doorbrengt maar vooral geniet van de stad.

De kamers waren niet van 4 sterren niveau. ze waren wat 'outdated' om het maar zo te zeggen. oude badkamer versleten gordijnen en vloerbedekking. Overigens was het wel schoon! Toch is het niet wat je van een 4* accommodatie verwacht. ik zou het max 3 sterren geven.

Fire Alarms

Room R 008 was a nice setup but again no aircon. A heater was provided it but still chilly.

The Fire alarms really ruined my stay. Was gonna stay for 3 nights had to leave after the second night after been woken up again on new years day with fire alarms. Paying over £300 for a room you expect to be warm and have a good night sleep. Stayed at the hotel before and the fire alarms have gone off so its time to find a new hotel. Which is a shame because its a nice hotel with good staff

Fab location! Everything was spot on!!

Location was amazing!! A stone's throw from ttain station, Bull Ring shopping centre and Alexandra theatre. Arrived early and left luggage. Friendly staff on reception. Lovely foyet and lounge/bar area, bright comfortable and welcoming. Room was immaculate, 6ft bed!! Bathroom was gleaming! The breakfast had the best selection we've seen. Breakfast staff were also superb. An excellent night's stay, well fed, and cases back in storage after check-out, to make the most of the fab location. We've stayed in a few Holiday Inns (IHG hotels), and all been excellent, but this one is the new favourite! And an excellent price! Will definitely be back.

Nice Room and clean, breakfast excellent, location once found was close to most amenities.

First time there so road works etc made it a little difficult to locate.

I'd stay again.

Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Spacious room. Breakfast was nice (except for no poached eggs option and no tomato juice) with good ingredients.

The room (905) was very tired, noisy airco on the roof and in the room.

Booked on booking.com, which stated breakfast included. When arrived, breakfast was extra, and not good value for money. Went elsewhere.

Overall nice, the location was very good. Hardly five to ten min walk from central train station

Good breakfast

Due to rain the ceiling started leaking in the room we stayed in. They changed our room. The new room was unfortunately not noise-Proof and it was VERY LOUD when people walked or talked in the corridors.

in town. good light. big tv

windows keep opening and shutting all times due to the strong winds (on the 5th floor). small bathroom. small room for the price you pay. it wasn't bigger than the average hotel rooms that's been advertised.

From the moment I walked into the reception area to booking out, the Hotel staff were very helpful

The Hotel was conveniently located as I was going to a concert in the City Centre which finished late. Being on the 8th floor, the view was fantastic both in the day and at night. The room was clean and bright but the best feature for me, was the ‘Desk’. As I travel with my laptop and use it a lot, I hate the little coffee table that most rooms provide. This room actually had a great set-up of which, the desk was used a lot. I slept well on the comfortable bed and the bathroom was adequate for a single traveller although, the shower didn’t work all that well but, at least it was clean. It also had the small coffee bar and fridge for my bottle of wine. Breakfast was a self service all you can eat with everything from cereal and toast to the full English, of which I had everything and thoroughly enjoyed. From the moment I walked into the reception area to booking out, the Hotel staff were very helpful and professional so I would recommend this Hotel within the budget range of which it is marketed at.

The curtain’s were coming off the rails slightly, but for one nigh it didn’t spoil my comfort.

Central location with easy access to the town centre.

Room and breakfast were fine

Extremely busy road around the hotel/area. The noise of the traffic even with the window closed was constant and did make sleeping difficult.

The room was clean and tidy and the buffet wasn't too bad

The staff were a bit hit and miss some staff were excellent others were rude or not even doing their jobs you also had no reliable directions for parking they didn't give you a map or direct you at all had to sort that out myself which was a pretty big L for them considering they had their own discounted parking apparently.
