Great location opposite the station -super staff Adam on reception and Sophie at breakfast
The building is tired and gloomy - corridors with patterned carpets and dull walls - needs a modern refurbishments

Mostly the staff was amazing . And very central great hotel location . But mainly the a staff was just very professional prompted to help with anything ar same time given the space needed without being over bearing . Great staff . Believe they were both Portuguese decedent very very nice ladies
Central and very good sized rooms with the iron board and iron . Blow drier . Plenty of towels and sheets pillows . Very comfortable

Excellent location for train station, which is why I booked. I had an early flight and a 1 minutes walk to the station is fantastic. But it's also right in the centre of Birmingham so great for that too. The hotel is a lovely old Victorian building, the room was good, bed very comfy and shower good.. I liked the 24 how reception; especially getting up at 5.30 to leave. it was nice that they're was someone there .Everyone very helpful and friendly..
The only thing I didn't appreciate was that you can't change the AC setting. It was set at 20 and I was freezing but then it was too warm just to have it turned off. So i kept alternating between off and on:. Not great at all especially in the night!
