Gorgeous property. Great room with comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, great shower. Very good restaurant in the hotel for breakfast. Lovely staff. They helped book our travels.

Charming colonial building, with great rooftop views. Very quiet and clean hotel.
The hotel is a little bit removed from the center of town, some 15 minutes walk away. The hotel is too quiet if you’re in town to party.

On the positive side, it is absolutely beautiful, with a charming colonial style that really immerses you in the atmosphere of Guatemala. The staff were also very helpful and willing to address any issues we had. The fact that it is about 20 minutes outside the city centre did not bother us at all. The rooms were also clean.
The rooms are very old and there is no air conditioning, which results in a noticeable musty smell. The heat inside the room was unbearable, and the only way to sleep was with a small fan that was extremely noisy. The pillows were, to put it mildly, unacceptable.
The breakfast was probably one of the worst I have ever had at a hotel. On top of everything, our room was full of mosquitoes, and overall we managed to sleep for no more than two hours during the three nights.
A beautiful property with a lot of character and very helpful staff, but unfortunately the condition of the rooms and the lack of basic comfort made our stay a very unpleasant one.
