The location is perfect. We strolled to the area of the imperial palace. We took the metro, right there by the hotel, for a baseball game. [note: all Americans should see a Japanese baseball game!]
There were no problems at all.

This iconic hotel was our splurge for our first two nights in Japan (repeat visit for me, first time for my spouse). It was sooooooo worth saving money for this special experience (for us). Incredible service, amenities, history, pajamas, various locations in the hotel, the view of the Imperial Palace right out of our window, the comfort of the bed, perfect climate control in the room, being RIGHT in Tokyo station and all that it offers, etc. etc. Absolutely loved it.
Nothing, but just a note that unlike other hotels we stayed at around Japan, it is discouraged to wear your post-onset pajamas around the hotel, even from the spa back to your room.

Hard product is 5 star worthy.Huge room. Probably would have appreciated toward the end of our trip after gauging the size of the others. Very Clean. Location is good, not great.
Further from the heart of Ginza than thought (20 min walk)
My thing was the soft product that takes a 4 star to 5 star hotel. The service, the attention to detail. This hotel was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our month long trip to Japan.
We stayed for our honeymoon (nothing was done) literally every other hotel gave us food/free drinks/even hand written notes. Nothing from Tokyo Station.
There was no ..tour...no idea where anything was. The history of the building we did ourselves have been to cheaper hotels were they do a tour and explain the history. We had issues at checkout with helping with our luggage. Huge queue to get any help.
Came in and out of hotel- no one said "hi" "bye" "have a good day" just ignored. Like I said the soft product was missing.
Also, no matter were you stay in the hotel, you will feel the train every 5 minutes from 5AM- 12:30PM. No expecting that despite being over a train station.
Just overall, very disappointing and a low point during our travels. Wouldn't recommend. Even my parents have rebooked another hotel after our experience with them.
Never paid so much for so less. This was only validated the further into our trip we got with different hotels a fraction of the cost.
Paying for a brand a size, I expect service for this much money. Literally feel robbed in some ways. Wouldn't recommend.
