liked the view from my room, and the bed was comfortable . Perfect location with view of the sea . The staff were very helpful and friendly . I will stay again next time i come to Eastbourne . Good breakfast .
The shower could be better . The single room is a bit small but i would still choose the same room . Some scrambled egg and poraghe would be good .

The room was very tired and dated, windows were unable to open due to being painted shut and the window pane was cracked.

The people were lovely and welcoming, our bathroom was massive. Our bedroom was large and clean and the shower was amazing. The location was convenient and we loved the balcony, we could hear the waves. The design and little details were special.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here during the Airborne show.
The hotel is well located on the sea front. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We had a twin rear view room which was fine. It was airy recently decorated but not one of the refurbished rooms. The main areas downstairs are decorated beautifully and the reception, lounge and bar are lovely. The old lift is very quaint.
We bought parking vouchers from reception which were very handy as parking was hard to find.
Breakfast could be improved. It was quite basic. We didn’t try the long life pastries so just had cereal with fruit and plain wholemeal toast. Our 4 eggs came out over boiled and rubbery so we had to ask for more. We got 2 back which were nice.
Our room wasn’t cleaned on the first morning, we didn't realise you had to ask for it to be cleaned.
The second morning we had breakfast and were told they had run out of eggs because the manager had forgotten to order them. The tea wasn’t hot enough.
Overall we had a nice stay but feel it was very overpriced for £186 per night for what we got.
