We had a beautiful double room on the second floor, lovely and warm, toiletries provided. The cleaner was very friendly and left the towels as requested since we were only there two nights. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful and provided a most useful town map with everything we needed to know marked on it.
There was a huge choice for breakfast, good quality and all beautifully cooked. Whoever prepared the fresh fruit salad made such a great job of choosing a variety and then cutting the fruit into equal sized little pieces, it was a pleasure to eat.
The hotel was perfectly positioned for visiting the Towner art gallery, our main reason for visiting Eastbourne, but also close to the sea for pleasant walks along the front, and not too far to walk into town.
I found the shower temperature a little tricky to regulate but there was plenty of hot water so not a real problem.

It was very clean .Very friendly helpful staff. Perfect location for theatres beach shopping. Comfortable surroundings. Very good value for money. Lots of space in room .Plenty of mirrors, wardrobes and cupboards.

We were given a suite at the top of the hotel so the exercise was great for us! There is an amazing Indian restaurant at the base of the hotel which is expensive but the food was excellent. Location was perfect for the theatres nearby and parking was a bonus. Didn't book breakfast so can't comment. All staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Couldn't fault it. We did think the room would've been very hot if we'd stayed during the heatwave as there was only one velux window in the bedroom. However, I'm sure the hotel would've given out fans.

I enjoyed having a bath rather than just a shower.
We had mice in our room -- they really enjoyed our complimentary shortbread, and the bananas we brought with us!
I was surprised to find our "suite" was in the basement, with the kitchen and breakfast room. It had doors opening on to a garden, though the weather was wet so we didn't use that. The staff were pretty inattentive at check in and checkout.
