Very spacious, lovely room with dual aspect windows. The best breakfast, fully served, white tablecloth service, with much choice. Location is very good specially if you want access to the beach, which we found to be convenient for relaxing and swimming.

Clean room, Breakfast.
The shower cubicle was very small. It was fitted with a drencher shower head, so was not adjustable. You turn it on by reaching inside the cubicle, in the process you get soaked and the flooring before you've been able to work out hot from cold. I had a cold shower.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had most things you could need including a hairdryer and when we requested an iron it was brought up very quickly. The room we had (314) was also nice and quiet.
For the price we paid I would have expected a bit more attention to cleanliness in the room, there was thick dust on the light fixtures and on the mirror in the bathroom. The shower didn’t have great water pressure and some of the sealant around the edge was mouldy. The check out was a bit chaotic with a huge queue of customers all waiting to check out and pay their bills at 10:30 - a better system would be to get people to pay their outstanding room bill at check-in, that way we could’ve dropped our key without having to wait.

Good location, parts of the hotel are well looked after and decorated nicely.
I stayed in a single room which was basic at best. The mattress was quite firm and had blankets and a sheet instead of a duvet.
The bathroom was of a worse standard than that of a university dorm.
The sealant around the bath and taps were discoloured and mouldy.
The water pressure in the shower was poor and the taps meant it was difficult to find a reasonable water temperature.
The whole room was extremely basic and not 4 stars by any means.
The TV remote was absolutely filthy, cannot imagine the last time it was wiped down.
I cannot speak for every room, but from my experience this is not a 4 star hotel as advertised.
