The rooms were big and clean. The property does not have elevator so if you have big luggage i would suggest to avoid it unless you are assigned rooms on the ground floor. They had a decent breakfast but almost no vegetarian options. The property is at a walking distance to the bus station. Location is good. One Staff in particular was very rude who entered our room directly when we were working and did not open the door in the morning.
However the owner was very sweet and listened to our requests.

The room was clean and spacious. It was nice to have a little table and chairs in the room as well as a fridge. The breakfast was fullfilling and there was a nice coffee machine. I was traveling with my 2 children and they loved being right nextdoor to a beautiful park and playground. Also about a 10-15 walk from the main train station. The hotel also included passes for the local public transportation which was a huge bonus for our family. 2 doors down from the University of Portland study abroad building.
The only areas of improvement would be having a safe for the room to store passports and valuables and a curtain or door for the shower as there seemed to be some water damage around the bathroom.

location. walkable to new and old town, but off the beaten path.
breakfast was delicious
the non-smoking room reeked of smoke and the staff did not offer any solution. the bottoms floor rooms are close to the main entrance and you could hear people being buzzed in and walking by late at night.
