Amazing positioning! As you step out of the apartment you are literally on a road that leads to the Vatican City in one direction and the Pantheon the other. And the streets around are lined with beautiful shops and trattorias. The apartment was a lovely mix of traditional Italian and more modern features. Our host met us in person, showed us around and ensured we were happy with the facilities. There were even a selection of cold drinks waiting for us in the fridge- much needed in a heatwave in Rome in August! The air conditioning was a god send and having a washing machine and detergent was very helpful during travelling. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
The steps up to the flat are quite narrow and uneven- traditionally Italian!
Termini station is a fair distance but this is rewarded by being in a far nicer part of Rome.

The location and ease of checking in are great.
It’s beautiful around and the apartment is decent. They left some waters and drinks in the fridge and the AC was delightful in a heat wave.
You can hear everything happening in the apartment, neighbours snoring, people coming in and out, every time someone closes a door the glass rattles. They rang the doorbell 3 times before 8am to pick up the bins.
There’s tiny ants everywhere, the kitchen hob, the bathroom and the living space.
There was no shower gel and only tiny sachets of shampoo and the towels have seen better days. If you have thick hair, bring your own hair dryer or it will take 2 business days to do it with the one provided.
For the price, we could have gone somewhere better

We stayed in the 2 bedroom penthouse with terrace in Viccolo di Bologna.
We were able to check in a little early which was really helpful and we liked the location (although not where we thought it was!)
The air-conditioning worked well.
The terrace area was nice to have.
Provided with plenty of bottled water.
The apartment was tired- the shiny photos are a misrepresentation.
The blinds in the living area were broken and had to tied down with a length of rope to the radiator to close them. The one in the smaller bedroom couldn't be opened so the room was dark the whole time.
The dishwasher was broken.
The downstairs 3rd bathroom was full of mould all round the shower which was also dirty.
The bathroom in the smaller bedroom smelt of dirty drains the whole time.
The living room furniture wasn't the quirky colourful chairs/sofa/table from the photos. Two dirty cream sofa beds and a single chair. Not a place to spend any time.
Many of the poles on the stairs were missing.
Crockery limited to some large plates and a few bowls.
Shower trays were completely flat so water just poured off the edges onto the floor.
