Our room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived so we were given the apartment, which was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, spacious, comfy bed. Very nice. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The station is just around the corner. There is a little shop opposite that sells all manner of things and they are very friendly too.
The fixed head shower. Not a fan. There was no alternative little shower head to wash your bits with. If you don't want to wash your hair, you're a bit knackered. It's either a full shower or no shower - unless you've brought a shower cap.

Arrived early in order to retrieve the car, early check in was no problem. Comfortable room which was quiet.
Busy in the bar so we ate down the road. Had to wait nearly an hour before breakfast to served but was excellent when it arrived.

Comfy bed and very light room ( no 1 )
Quiet despite being over the pub.
good choice of channels on the TV.
Bathroom is very old style. No thermostat on shower so difficult to set temperature. Also high step to get in/out. Toilet cistern dripped all night?
Shelf over sink slopes so you cant balance anything on it !
Fan had short lead so didn't reach windows to bring in cooler air?
Room quite small which you can't tell from clever photos. Limited storage if you want to unpack.
