I was told I was actually upgraded from my booked room which was a very pleasant surprise. Room was amazing. Shower was excellent. Service was sensational and very kind and accommodating. Location was perfect for my purpose there.
There was only one thing but it barely bothered me. The hair dryer needed replacing. It overheated immediately and was shooting sparks. Think it was just old. But I mentioned it to staff and they took care of it and were very nice to interact with. No problems

The location is phenomenal, right on Caxton st with the stadium, a shopping centre with a Coles, and a wide variety of restaurants all within about a 2 minute walk. There was also a bus stop about a 5 minute walk down the road that was 4 stops (about 10 minutes) away from Brisbane CBD. The room was fairly clean, and even on Caxton Streets busiest nights the room was completely quiet with the balcony doors shut. The room is also bigger than it looks in the photos, which was a very pleasant surprise! All of this for a very reasonable price has left me very satisfied with the hotel.
The main criticism is the parking, it's available, but it's very tight with small spaces, and in very limited numbers. Staff did inform us at check-in about this, but apart from the nearby shopping centre parking can be very limited. A smaller criticism was the cleanliness, overall it was a solid 4/5, but there was some heavy dust in the wardrobe, specifically on the lower shelves, and the shower could've used a de-molding along the corners. None of these issues were bad enough to be dealbreakers or severely negatively impact the stay, and I was so satisfied with the experience that I've made the Beetson my new default hotel for Brisbane trips.
