Location brilliant
The size of the bed so uncomfortable and the pillows too hard. Don’t even have small double beds in a travel lodge and they’re cheaper. Need to update bed sizes. Who sleeps in small double beds in hotels anymore.

The location, the views, the sunsets, the staff were attentive, and informative on the sights to see, especially if you are touring around the area was invaluable. The room was spacious, although being on the second floor provided its challenges and exercise. Just as well you had a hearty breakfast available. Call out to Jack the bar tender, great sense of humour and banter with the guests/us, which we loved.
Unfortunately our arrival coincided with urgent chimney removal, as part had come away. This required scaffolding and it went across our bedroom window. This to say the least, it spoilt our view, and we were staying 6 nights. The good news the scaffolding came down on our last full day. The hotel staff did try and contact us, but we had been in the move. It was no fault of the hotel, as we realised safety cones first.
