Central location in Verona, with many cafes nearby, and a short walk to Verana Porta Nuova train station, with bus stops in front of the building. Rooms and beds were comfortable, with efficient air conditioning.
Check-in was a little confusing. Fortunately we were able to get inside the lobby when someone else entered the locked door, and waited for the guy to arrive (no permanent on site staff). He was very friendly but spoke almost no English. Fortunately i can speak Portuguese and we were able to communicate reasonably well. He was very nice though and helpful. He took us to our apartment but then to check in, we had to go back down to the lobby area and up another elevator to the office. A bit of a hassle but it was ok. We have had this before in Europe and it is what it is.

The apartment was clean, big and the facilities were good. Coffee machine was a nice touch.
The apartment was gloomy as no view the windows looked out on apartment walls. This apartment is no good for bike tourists. The owner made a huge deal about our bikes and not allowing them in the apartment when they were clean and the apartment was big enough to accommodate them. He suggested we put them in a public carpark, which was along way away. As they were expensive bikes, we did not want to do this because we felt it was insecure. This made our trip very stressful and we did not enjoy our stay at all.
