Fantastic experience at the Beckford Inn. All staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was warm, clean and enough space for two. Having the radio on when we arrived was a lovely touch. We had dinner there which was delicious, the ham hock croquettes were our favourite. Our package included breakfast which was delicious and a great range of options! Location was great and plenty of parking.
The floorboards were creaky and could be noisy at times but we slept well and that wasn't a huge problem for us.

Nicely decorated bedroom
The radiator was right next to the bed and wouldn’t switch off so it was much too hot

All general stuff good
Only two issues
Our room Alderton at the top of the stairs has a VERY LOUD water pump that services other rooms
Did tell staff that it needs to be swapped for a MUCH quieter one.
Very disturbing
Also windows only opened a bit and there was a smell of poo in our room which staff attributed to muck spreading locally
