Location was great. Good bed. Clean room and bathroom. For a few nights, it was good value for money.
The room is pretty simple. There is no minifridge, no desk, no chair. The wardrobe is good enough - a rack to hang your clothes. It was all I needed, but for a longer stay I would have picked somewhere with more room "facilities".

The location of the hotel was great in Leixample; The staff was very friendly and outgoing ;The Wi Fi in my room was good; The room was cleaned properly by the cleaners; I liked the coffee shop next to the hotel, althought the staff there sometimes were not very friendly.
The room I booked was facing the street and it was on the first floor; When I opened the window during the day and sometimes at night it was exremely noisy. I asked the staff if I can be placed in another room that face the internal courtyard and they were helpfull with that; Overall sometime you could hear doors slamming and people walking; There was no shelf in the bathroom so it was a bit impractical where to leave your shampoo when washing up yourself.

The staff were fantastic as was the location. It is a fantastic neighbourhood with everything you need.
The fact there is no minibar fridge is an absolute bummer. It is disappointing that a hotel room does not have this essential amenity in a global city like barcelona. It put an absolute dampener on our stay in in 30+ degree heat. If you have any need for anything cold (and trust me you do in summer) look elsewhere.
