Lovely small inn in the village in Moretonhampstead, with a kind and friendly owner! Spacious room, 2 comfortable twin beds, with large bathroom and modern updates. Plenty of windows, even a small fridge which was key on a walking holiday. The location was great for a home base while walking Dartmoor, I had a rental car and it was 30-40 mins to Totnes, Buckfastleigh etc and even closer to North Bovey and Bovey Castle. Breakfast was lovely and she had vegan milk/butter. Would definitely stay again! Just a few doors down from a Co-op, the White Hart pub, and a few other food options.

Breakfast was just the job, several choices and served up by the very generous hosts đź‘Ś the bedroom was of generous size, the bed very comfortable đź‘Ťđź‘Ť. Very central to local amenities and the venue I was visiting over the two days đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Lovely old building full of character, very comfortable clean large room and separate shower room/toilet. The bedside lamp has USB charging ports no no need for a plug. Great village with lots of amenities and shops, including coffee shops, a laundrette and an outdoor heated swimming pool. Parking available nearby and if you time your visit it is free between 4pm on street and 6pm in car park until 9 am the following morning. Recycling for plastics and cans also in main car park.
Parking not on site but I managed to time my visit to get free parking nearby. There was also a space on the street but I had already parked by then. Parking is free if you park at or after 4pm on street and 6pm in car park just up the road, until 9 am the following morning. There are limited on street spaces outside the hotel.

We received a warm welcome (Including our dog). The room was nice and bed was comfy. Parking in the nearby car park was easy and free overnight. It was a great stopover for us on the way to Cornwall. We'd definitely stay again if in the area.
