The hotel, room, restaurant and staff were great! I had an amazing stay at Cielo Maya and would totally recommend the place for a relaxing stay. The food at the restaurant was good and diversified, including the complimentary breakfast. The water equipment offered was nice too.
There's a cenote a minute away from the hotel.
I would recommend renting a car before getting there if you wish to explore the region, but you can also get there by taxi from the bus station in Tulum.

The place was really cool, very nice facilities. Right on the beach with a nice dock to swim from.

So quiet and peaceful, very helpful staff, incredible snorkeling, beautiful property right on Tankah Bay. Very safe for a solo female traveler. Great wifi speed, restaurants and cenote in close walking distance.

Clean hotel, spacious room, right at the beach. Good location near cenotes and Akumal.
Informational only: the road to this hotel is a real bumpy ride. Nothing the hotel can help with
Ok we are still in shape to carry our heavy luggage up two stairs, as there is no elevator. But the fact that no-one even bothered to offer help, i can only think of the poor souls that are unable to carry all their suitcases up. I guess you have to ask for assistance, rather than being offered.
The place is a bit remote, so you’re bound to eat at the hotel. Not a problem but good to know if you stay long at this hotel.
Not sure if it is odd, but it is a first time ever that we had to pay a deposit for a stay at a hotel. (?)
