Jashita is a special place, one where you feel like you are staying at a friend's house but with staff to cater to one's every wish. Probably helped by the fact that there were not many guests staying at the same time as us so quite often we were the only people around the gorgeous main pool. Design of the hotel is stunning, felt like a bit of Ubud Bali with Mexican touches! We had a wonderful stay, away from the hassle and bustle of Tulum. Recommend hiring a car (concierge can organise National drop off and pick up at hotel, very reasonable) or arrive in one as restaurants are all about 15 mins ride and Uber doesn't work in Tulum, with local taxis very expensive, especially if need two cars each way (we travelled as family of 5). There are three pools in the hotel (one kids and two adult, rooftop pool just wow!). Clean, cool and very welcoming. Staff do a terrific job clearing up sargassus and if you go out on a SUP, water is crystal clear, we even saw a Manta Ray. Breakfasts were excellent, dinner a little less exciting and a bit pricy, better dining options in town. Little gym was an unexpected treat, right in the middle of jungle. Guests' book library a lovely touch. We did two full day excursions with Authentic Tours Tulum (Cesar, owner and guide is brilliant and fairly priced). One was to Chichen Itza, Ik Kil Cenote and Valladolid (make sure to visit Casa de los Venados if you love art). Second day was action packed Coba and Punto Laguna.
Rooms a little tired given the age of property but in no way did this spoil our experience. But for the price point of hotel some may feel that not getting best value. This is not a hotel to come to for beach (we used hotel as a base for culture and to explore the food scene of Tulum), especially during sargassus season so keep this is mind. And really think hard about going for hotel with no pool - Jashita was absolutely right choice here.

Everything at Jashita Hotel was pure perfection: the setting, the service, the food, the attention to detail. The staff made us feel truly special, always caring and professional. The beach and pool area were stunning, and our room was spacious and beautifully designed. One of the most unforgettable stays we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful boutique hotel in private setting. Lovely pool area, lovely restaurant and bar. Just beautiful! The breakfast is amazing. We had a two beds room for 4 people, it was good size, not very big but still spacious. You can borrow snorkles for free at the beach. Nice bathroom, everything very clean. Extra bath towels. We loved our stay at Jashita! Feels Luxurious.
Maybe time to renew some of the snorkles. But this is a great place!
