My stay at Hotel Ma'xanab was truly wonderful, and I already miss it. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and spotless, the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease after a long day exploring. The location is excellent, convenient for discovering Tulum while still offering a peaceful retreat to come back to.
What made the experience unforgettable, though, was the people. The reception staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, always ready to help with a smile and genuine kindness. The waiters were attentive, friendly and professional, making every meal a pleasure. A special thank you goes to the housekeeping ladies, whose discretion and efficiency were remarkable: the room was always perfect, yet I hardly ever noticed them at work.
It is rare to find a place where every member of the team contributes so sincerely to making guests feel at home. I would recommend Hotel Ma'xanab without hesitation and would love to return. Thank you all for a truly special stay

Remote hotel set in the jungle, such a unique experience. Staff are so attentive and really made the stay great. Alex is so lovely and thoughtful.

Rooms were gorgeous, cleaned and tidied twice a day - so spacious with stunning facilities!
The hotel wasn’t too busy making it a lovely chilled vibe.
Breakfast unreal.
Service generally was incredible!
All of the cocktails tasted watered down and you couldn’t taste alcohol in any of the cocktails - the margaritas were really quite poor.
The location was JUST outside of the really vibey parts but this wasn’t too much of an issue really if you’re happy to wander along the busy road.
Could have created a bit more of a daytime beach club vibe, the music was super quiet and not really vibey

Beachfront hotel
Friendly staff
Nice food at breakfast - loved the fresh fruit everyday too
Large room with a comfy bed and every amenity you could need
Its a bit of a walk to the restaurants and bars, we were recommended not to get taxi's due to overcharging. The walk was fine and never felt unsafe, but unavoidable if you want to leave the hotel.
