I return to The Lamp every 6 weeks, as the management, staff and venue are the best. You are made to feel welcome immediately, in this charming, historic building, well located for all my needs. The rooms all have historic themes and decoration, with very comfortable beds and the usual coffee/tea facilities. Nothing is too much trouble.

We love staying at the Lamb, the old historic house, excellent beer, tasty breakfast and friendly staff.
The air conditioning machines left from the very hot summer took up a lot of room and were no longer necessary as the temperatures had dropped. The water in their buckets was rather unsavoury.
