Location is fantastic.
When I made the booking it was billed as a double room with two separate images which I took to mean two separate rooms. First they said they could give us a cot/bed in the room, next day they said it would chat €60. Classic bait and switch. Next time I’ll contact property for clarification.

The location offers both rooms and apartments. We rented an apartment on the 5th floor for a week; it was spacious with a small living room, a kitchen/dining room, bedroom, and bathroom. Thankfully, there was A/C in the apartment, which we definitely needed in Madrid in August. The kitchen also had a washing machine, dishwasher, and a fridge & freezer. It was ideal for a couple. It seemed like almost everything we wanted to see or do in Madrid was within a 15 minutes walk. The Royal Palace was opposite our apartment and there were plenty of restaurants, bars and small supermarkets nearby. The Opera metro station was just around the corner and the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, the center of Madrid, were 12 minutes away on foot. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. We will be back.
