Lovely place to stay

Lovely hotel / lodge type rooms, very close to the main street in Garmish, about a 10-15 min walk from the train station

Not much we didn’t like, but note that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot when we were there in mid August. However plug in fans were available and the staff were great

- Good location - Very clean - Very friendly reception - Great aesthetic and unique design

- No privacy in the shower (transparent door) - Kitchen not well-equipped - No closets - Elevators stop working very early - difficult to move luggage if checking in late

Good

The place is stylish and in a very hart of the city.

The place is small, the terrace is the coridor. No AC and a huge noise of traffic when windows are open.

We had a great time, super convenient location and a unique and stylish option in GAPA.

Architecture was marvellous, great location and design, friendly staff, perfect service. The breakfast was tasty and rooms very well appointed. We had a great time. They also provide paid parking with EV charging facilities, we opted for free on-Street parking thou.

Breakfast was tasty, but not value for money. €18 per person for a set menu, no choices and average coffee was not a great start to our day. Parking at the premises was also a is a bit pricey, couldn’t justify it at €20 per night/day. Good thing free street parking was available and hotel staff were great at recommending this as an option. Overall the pros outweighed the cons.

Quaint and cosy accommodation

The hotel concept was very unique- it was like a service apartment with restaurant facilities. I liked the Scandinavian vibes and design of the loft. It was cosy and good enough for us for a short stay. Town was a 10min walk but manageable.

Very good experience

Very well located, 5 minutes walk to the center with easy free parking on the street. The apartment is great for family with plenty of space. The fact that it has a small kitchen is a great plus. Very quite and welcoming design

Cool modern space conveniently located in the center of Garmisch

very chic modern space with little efficiency apartments. Each room had its own little kitchenette, and great views of the mountains surrounding Garmisch. The concierge was absolutely amazing and the kitchen staff were superb. The concierge recommended places for dinner and how best to enjoy a day at Zugspitze. Her recommendations were spot on. The breakfasts each morning were delicious.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and I wish they had provided more pillows. We probably could have asked for more, though.

perhaps there should be hooks in the toilet for handing clothes

Lovely place to recover from busy city life

It was our third time and we’re hoping to be back again - we love it! The wood, the design, the views, and the breakfast. Hanging upstairs in the hammock, reading books and peeking out the window was just wonderful.

For the fall season, it felt like having a warm blanket around would’ve been very convenient, especially to use upstairs with the hammock - it was slightly chilly, prompting us to rely on heating (could avoid using heating otherwise). Additionally my husband complained about inability to “dig into” the pillow, so some “pillow menu” could be nice.

very pleasant atmposphere, the hotel's concept is unique and very modern unlike places we stayed in Germany

i was surprised to learn that had we arrived after 8 pm we would not be able to enter. i don't remember seeing it stated. also, the division to 2 shifts breakfast does not make sense

interesting concept, room design, yet somewhat expensive

individually served breakfast was wonderful, both iin terms of service and variety of food & beverages

comfort of beds below expectations, missing night stands, head ends " boxed in " not pleasant, access on side of stairs difficult

Love what it embodies - quiet, restful and respectful of nature.

Loved the unique concept of this accommodation, the food (breakfast and dinner) was amazing and it was a 5 min walk to the city.

The pillows were too soft. 🙃

I'd return for a longer stay without hesitation

The rooms were executed with economy and elegance; one could stay in them for an extended period and feel very comfortable, even as a small family.

Superb

The wood panels give a warm homely feeling, the layout was minimalistic and space is well used. The view from the huge window out front is great! The breakfast was simple and filling, the staff was super sweet and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Unusually designed, comfortable hotel, a short walk from the centre of Garmisch

Good location, 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Garmisch; extremely good breakfast; very spacious room; great views across to the mountains; pleasant and helpful staff

The decor won't be to everyone's taste - pine everywhere (walls, ceiling, furniture, etc) with a modern, quasi-industrial look that is very different from most Bavarian hotels; non-intuitive room layout, with things - particularly storage (cupboards, shelves, etc) for clothes - scattered all over the place

The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious.

The rooms were a bit unwelcoming and cold, not very cozy or comfortable, there was only one very soft pillow on the bed. Each night there was an electricity hum while trying to sleep from the bed lamps even when off.

The room vibe service and the restaurant highly recommended. Surprisingly the hotel restaurant is not shown on Google but food was fantastic.

Many type of Recycling bins. Not sure which to use. Mb a general bin will be useful
