Very friendly staff, hotel is excellently located, right in the centre of Madrid (approx 10 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor), rooms were quiet, well appointed. We were in Madrid for the F1 and the Sol RENFE and Metro station was less than a 5 minute walk, perfectly located for the MADRING visit. On our last day we took the train from Sol to Nuestros Ministerios and then the metro the the airport. The whole journey took around 50 minutes.
Nothing at the hotel it is fabulous. The hotel is on a quiet side street right next to Calle de Montera. There is lots going on in Calle de Montera but for a more authentic feel I would recommend heading down to the Arenal or Plaza Mayor areas. Only a 10 minute walk.

Excllent location, walking distance to all the sites and shopping areas in downtown Madrid. Extremely courteous and friendly staff. Rooms were maintianed immaculate every day of my stay. Dont be taken aback by the small street the hotel is on, very safe area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

It was very quiet and in a good position - very central and close to two metro stations. The air con worked perfectly and kept the room at a steady 18 degrees, despite the heat of Madrid. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only thing was that the hot water at breakfast as in a pot which was not kept at a high temperature, so I ended up not drinking tea. Otherwise everything was perfect.
