Hotel Antika was a perfect three-star stay in Zermatt. The location was ideal for viewing the Matterhorn and central to everything, making it easy to explore town. Everything was clean, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was great. I’d happily stay here again!

1) Easy walk to train station.
2) Ambiance/decor of the hotel and our room were primo!!

Very accommodating
A little too far from the train station to walk with luggage

Location was a 12 min leisurely walk from station (can be faster) with many restaurants and shops nearby. Also easy to get to Matterhorn glacier paradise station and gornergratbahn station. The room being in basement 2 was a little too stifling, but turned out to be spacious.
Reception staff upon our arrival at noon time was really cold and unwelcoming, as she shoved us to the basement to put our luggage like we were schools children. Our room was the one next to the breakfast place so foot traffic outside was audible sigh. Room decor was quite dated and didn’t not give a feeling of cleanliness.
