Location, excellent early breakfast, helpful staff, nice balcony with a view of the Matterhorn, nice room, room cane with a small backpack to use during your stay which came in handy for our mountain treks, nice lounge areas (inside and outside)
We had a bathtub/shower where you had a large step to get in and out of the bathtub. For a senior citizen, this was not easy to navigate.

Staff was lovely and very helpful. We’ve also got a delicious welcome drink. The room is quite big and beautiful. Location is right in the middle of the village. Couldn’t be better. 10/10 hospitality. Next time I’m in Zermatt I’ll surely come back and stay here again

The bed was comfortable and the view nice.
The staff was very rude. They acted as though we had committed a crime for arriving at breakfast at 10:20 (breakfast ending at 10:30) - taking into consideration that we had a 2 year old with us.
They refused initially to make some fried eggs, stating that they only had boiled eggs. They only agreed to give us fried eggs after I showed them it was in the menu (acting as though this is something completely different from what I requested before).
We barely finished breakfast and they were already asking when we would leave.
Very very rude. The lady at the reception acted like a bitter school principal.
