Clean, close proximity to Forum Shopping mall and friendly staff. Feel releif when the hotel allowed us to keep our luggage while we travelled to Almaty South.
The access cards always de-activated and I have to go to reception to reactivate it.. troublesome for me

Location is good. The rooms are well equipped and clean. In fact the cleaner did an exceptional job of cleaning the room. The night check in staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The public areas were bright and welcoming.
Furniture and decor in the rooms is a little dated and tired.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, complemented by a welcoming and helpful reception team. Having a convenient shopping mall next door made breakfast options and quick shopping trips effortless. Check-in was smooth, and the staff readily accommodated our request to move to a non-smoking room after the first night. We also dined at the hotel's restaurant on three of the five nights of our stay, and the food was consistently delicious and enjoyable.
The carpet in the first room allocated to us was noticeably dirty, prompting us to request a room change. While the carpet in the second room was somewhat cleaner, it still fell below the expected standard of cleanliness.
The dinner service at the hotel's restaurant was particularly disappointing. Although the food was tasty and well-prepared, the overall dining experience was affected by several service shortcomings. A number of items listed on the menu were unavailable during our stay, limiting the dining choices. On our last evening, the appetizer was served after the main course, which was both surprising and disappointing.
Service was consistently slow. On one occasion, we waited approximately 30 minutes for hot drinking water and then a further 10 minutes before a glass was provided. Such delays significantly detracted from the dining experience.
We also had an opportunity to speak with the restaurant manager regarding our concerns. Unfortunately, the discussion left us with the impression that the focus was more on identifying and penalizing staff members than on understanding the feedback and addressing the underlying service issues constructively. A more customer-centric and solution-oriented approach would have been appreciated.

"Staff were very helpful, particularly Tamer. Hotel is little old and needs renovation. Apart from that, everything is fantastic."
