Location to my conference and easy walk with luggage from main Edinburgh station. Lovely room and comfortable bed. Close to all the action of the fringe festival locations. In a nice part of town. Easy walk to military tattoo at Edinburgh castle. Very helpful staff who took luggage upstairs so not having a lift wasn’t an issue. Has a very pleasant shared living room. Breakfast next door was discounted and very ample à la carte selection. Great start to our holiday. Olde world feel and big room with ensuite. Plenty of natural light.
Street was a little noisy but it added to the ambience of Edinburgh

We had room 4a which involved remembering a bathroom code key which was across the hall not ideal esp late at night. The room was tiny not much hanging space or storage thought really very expensive for what it was
