Location accogliente nel cuore di Lucca antica

Location eccezionale, nel cuore della città di Lucca ma nonostante questo facilmente accessibile con la macchina perchè l'albergo, ad un costo aggiuntivo ragionevole, mi ha dato la possibilità di stazionare la mia auto nel garage della struttura con conseguente permesso incluso alla ZTL! Questa è stata per me una soluzione perfetta visto che viaggiavo con una vettura nuova e carica di cose preziose, quindi è stata sorvegliata. Il personale si è dimostrato molto attento e disponibile nel darmi tutte le informazioni necessarie. La stanza era una generosa suite mansardata, pulita e profumata con ampi ambienti ed un bagno molto spazioso e nel complesso tutto era ben illuminato. Il letto e lenzuola molto confortevoli e nella stanza non mancava nessuna amenity considerando la sua categoria. Colazione allestita con un ricco buffet in cui non mancava veramente nulla, sia con offerta di dolce che di salato, e disponibile in orari comodi. Ci ritornerò sicuramente e grazie a tutto lo staff molto più professionali della proprietaria stessa :)

Would definitely return to La Luna

Location was superb, and the staff were willing and available. Air conditioned room was vital in the current heatwave and it functioned quietly and smoothly throughout our stay.

Good hotel with friendly service in a great location

The hotel is in a great location, next to the amphitheatre. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. Good selection for breakfast and nice clean and air conditioned rooms. This was a return visit and I would stay again.

Great location and okay hotel

The room was very quiet, and you could darken the room completely. The location was excellent. The brrakfast was okay. I've had better ones, but never in Italy :-). I was very surprised to see there was more than a dry toast.

The bed was rather uncomfortable.

When, the initial problems were solved we had a good stay. But, would not stay at this hotel again.

The location was good with easy access to all of the old town area of Lucca. The breakfast was good and any items that had run out were repleished by the staff reasonably quickly. The rooms were adequate considering it was an old historic building. The bathroom was also adequate, but the shower door needed to be lifted slightly to allow it to be moved. Most of the staff tried very hard to be helpful and whilst most succeded this was not always the case.

One big complaint. The weather was particularly warm for the time of year. The hotel central heating was switched on and the thermostatic radiator valve adjuster was missing. The radiator could NOT therefore be turned off. The heat in the room was such that it was impossible to sleep. It took multiple requests before staff were able (willing?) to isolate the radiator from the system.

My stay within the wonderful city walls was delightful and this hotel made everything quite convenient.

It’s location couldn’t be better. I had a great experience in that I added a day to my original reservation and they made it possible that I didn’t need to change rooms. They also had tickets available for a concert that evening- handy I was able to store my suitcase after I checked out until I was scheduled to leave the city.

I think a comfortable chair in the room would have been a plus.

A nice place to stay overall.

Great location and staff. Nice sized room, very clean. Good breakfast buffet which you can take outside if the weathers good. Easy walking to numerous sights, bars and restaurants in the centro storico.

Like anywhere in Italy can be noisy at night, sometimes people partying outside or nearby till 2 or 3 am. Right opposite a restaurant so noise from there till that shuts about 11pm. No soundproofing - couldn’t have the window open due to the noise and the ac didn’t work so the room got pretty hot and stuffy at night… Didn’t ruin our stay but light sleepers beware…

Excellent location, good selection of breakfast and coffee, and clean room. Staff was helpful and professional.

Very comfortable, super central, value for money

The hotel couldn't be more central, perfect to visit Lucca, especially if you don't have much tima. Staff has been very friendly and helpful, like proper Tuscan people. Lovely breakfast, maybe not 10,000 options, but good ingredienti, genuine food. Parking within the city walls and not too far from the facility is a plus.the room is very comfortable and clean

I didn't realise the cost for a cot was not included, but that was probably my fault. If I need to find something else, be aware that you need to walk a little from the car park.

Relaxed enjoyable stay

Staff were absolutely brilliant. We stayed as a family 4 rooms and 7 of us to attend a wedding. Staff couldn't do enough for you and were so friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable for our 4 night stay. We will definitely be back again. Thank you to all at the Hotel La Luna

Good location, good internet, basic breakfast. Solid choice.

The hotel is located at the heart of the old Lucca and is easy to find.

Minor discomfort were 1) sounds from the streets at the evening and 2) lack of natural sunlight in my room.

Fantastic location within group the walls and in the heart of the old Medieval part of Lucca. Great restaurants nearby. Handy for everything.

The best hotel in Lucca

The location is fabulous. It's central to everything in the town. The staff are so friendly and always helpful and we never stay anywhere else while in Lucca. They have a bar which is lovely for a nightcap! There is also an excellent restaurant right on the doorstep if you don't want to go any further.

Perfect location for visiting Lucca. Size of room was very comfortable. we like the sitting aread at the entrance to the room. Breakfast was great. Reception and cleaning personnel very friendly, helpful and competent. Small detail, but unlike many hotels, the tissu boxes always had plenty of tissus. AC was discreet and could be turned off during cooler nights. Towels were the nice absorbent terry-cloth ones, not the thick soft ones that just push the water around your body. Nice to have two separate washrooms, one with shower, the other with WC.

Faucets on the wash basins were small and not very practical. Would have been nice to have kettle & coffee maker (or at least instant coffee) in room. As an early riser I like a coffee first thing in the morning. the 7:30 start for breakfast was a bit late.

Will never stay here again.

Location is really great. Breakfast ok. That's the only positive thing I can say about this place.

This room was ugly, dark and disappointing. No complimentary water. No view. Almost 200 euros for one night (included parking payment). Parking is extra and quite difficult to find. Check in was between 14:00 and 23:00 but we had multiple request sent to us for information of what time we would arrive. Seriously who cares if the place is booked and paid for and the reception has Staff on hand for check in's.

I had a lovely room overlooking the courtyard. The staff were all very helpful and friendly with very good English. It's very near to the main street, and easy to walk everywhere. Great aircon. Highly recommended.
