Great fun being in an ex prison. Really interesting conversion. Kept some of the original cells (not for guests 😄). The included buffet meals were very tasty. Thank you for including dinner as standard as pretty expensive in Helsinki. We had the junior suite with the sauna (never had so many saunas 😆). Beds comfy. Quiet location. Lots of gluten free food 👏👏
Got an upgrade at a supposedly cheaper rate (my birthday) but turned out not really when i checked on latest prices. Thought they might have thrown that in.

Hotel was very interesting in that it was housed in a former prison. It is right on the tram line so very convenient to travel downtown and can even get to the cruise ship terminal with a few transfers. The hotel has and excellent comprehensive breakfast and a nice dinner (supper) included in the price of the stay. The staff were friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. It was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the downtown Market Square. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
while the bed was comfortable, I feel it could have been more firm, but this is a personal choice. other than this I cannot find fault with the hotel.

Good location, quiet & big rooms
The bathroom had a yellow stained sink and the bath / shower that was very dangerous way too high and the water leaked everywhere in the floor as the shower screen was far too small and was not designed properly either
