We loved the location and ambience of this hotel, meals were good and staff member Thomas was a credit to the hotel team
Shower was hopeless and we were there for a 3 day hike so would have welcomed a better shower

The hotel is in need of a major refurbish. It has old world charm but it needs a lot of work.

Breakfast well organised - selection of cooked and continental.
Hotel full of character and atmosphere.
Staff were incredibly helpful - rectifying an issue we had with our room with complete professionalism.
Rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds.
Hotel is dated and needs a little tlc around the edges - but easy to look past this.
Initial room had a strong damp smell - we were swapped without any hassle.

Bathroom was tiny and I’m not immobile or porky.
Pillows were far too big.
