We were really only there on a stop-over from home in Arbroath to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute….. Drinks prices ( wine) was good enough quality and well priced ..compared with other hotels…as were food prices…. Room staff ( cleaner) were very friendly and helpful…
It was a wet night but the parking area was poor (a bit muddy)….the hotel really needs a lot of work to bring it up to a reasonable standard…especially from reception to dining room/ bar area…. I AM VERY FUSSY ABOUT MY SCRAMBLED EGG….BUT THIS WAS SO BAD THAT I COULD NOT EAT IT!
