The location suited us well as we were travelling back to Edinburgh after visiting the west coast and parking was easy.
The room was well appointed with facilities for making hot drinks etc. but also the convenience of the bar and restaurant of the hotel.
Both dinner and breakfast were excellent in quality and value for money and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

All exactly what we wanted and needed with 2 black lads as a break in the journey from Cape Wrath to Yorkshire. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and the dogs, one a very recent rescue to us, were pampered and made so welcome that their feelings were reflected in ours, and we felt treated over and above any normal expectation of other hotels and it was brilliant. We will be back.

it rained at night and the noise was pretty bad as the guttering must have overflowed or leaked and it battered down onto our window ledge
