The Raeburn was both so charming and comfortable. We absolutely loved our room and our 4 night stay. The hotel is in the best neighborhood to stay in in the city - so close to fantastic bars, restaurants, shops and transportation. There’s also a great restaurant and pub in the lobby that we had dinner and drinks at. We’ve already decided to stay at The Raeburn for our next trip to Edinburgh.

Room was pretty and spacious and clean. Loved the restaurant and bar on site. Kathryn was excellent.
The patio and bar was loud late into the night. It was fun to have it nearby, but loud in room.

Room 1 and its en suite are absolutely beautiful. I loved the spaciousness of both the bedroom and the wonderful bathroom with roll-top bath and separate large walk-in shower, plus huge window. The provision of water, tea and coffee-making equipment and crisps and sweet treats free of charge was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building is lovely and the location is fabulous. Stockbridge is a great area with the amazing Village of Dean a walk down the Water of Leith and the Botanic Gardens a short stroll away too. It is easy to get up to George St and from there walk into the Old Town, but I was glad not to be staying right in the centre, especially as the Festival was on during our visit and the city was thronged with people.
Nothing really. Perhaps the pillows! I think they were hypoallergenic and that meant they weren't as comfy as the down ones I use at home.

The bed was comfortable. The room had everything we needed. The bathroom was tidy and the mini fridge was stocked and we had complementary goodies and the staff was clear about what we had to pay and what was included. The pub and restaurant were delicious and our rooms were super quiet. We loved the raeburn and what a difference compared to a bunch of disappointing Airbnb disasters this summer.
We liked everything except we didn’t know that under 18s couldn’t eat in the pub after 9 pm. We got in late the first day and ended up with take out in our room and that was a bit sad.
