Our 3rd stay. We love the location. Always like being able to have coffee in room with chocolate marshmallow. Great bed.
The hotel is showing its age. Missing towel hook on back of bathroom door. Hot water never really “hot.” Windows were filthy. The young lady at front desk during later afternoon hours couldn’t have been more disinterested. We stopped at the bar for a nightcap, she walked by us two or three times from her position behind the bar. Never made eye contact. She doesn’t belong in the hospitality industry.

The room was smallish for it's price. However our staying was at pesk Fringe and Tattoo season, and the Hotel is well laid out and very modern. It was also very clean, with a fantastic bar / pub attached. The breakfast was of a generous portion, and absolutely delicious.

Comfy bed, staff try hard to please
The room was very cramped, staff had to rearrange furniture just for us to reach both sides of bed. Room was immediately above weekend live music in bar, so was noisy our 2 nights there
