Honestly, the best part in the backpackers hostel was the friendly staff and all the amazing people from so many different places we met there. The kitchen facilities were good and functional. The rooms were clean with fresh bed sheets and served their purpose for having a bed to sleep in.
The beds were not very comfortable, the matrasses seemed quite old and used, and bathrooms sometimes not very clean.

The hostel exceeded our expectations! A cute, fun place with everything you need. It’s a bit “spartan” (as you’d expect from a hostel), and the facilities aren’t new, but the lovely touches and little winks to guests everywhere make it special. Liam at reception is an absolute gem, such a lovely guy, truly “living the dream”!
I stayed in the female dorm with two friends and we had a great experience. It’s clean (considering the shared facilities), welcoming, and I would definitely recommend it.
It’s a little far from some of the island’s main attractions, but with a car it’s totally manageable. Plus, it’s very close to the mainland and Eilean Donan Castle.
