We stayed at this amazing hotel 16 years ago for our honeymoon and it was so very soecial. As we were close by in Danang we decided to swing by for the night as it was our wedding anniversary. It's always a risk going back somewhere after such a long time as it may not live up to the memories. I'm so happy to say that the Victoria is every bit as amazing as the first time. A little piece of heaven in a hotel, with comfortable amazing rooms, wonderful staff who make you feel right at home and the best food in Vietnam. Will return over and over again whenever in Vietnam. Highly recommend.

A properly operated resort and can see constantly being maintained.
Its not a resort packed with activities but rather a place to chill and unwind.

Location and direct access to wide clean beach.
Pool area was nice and pool guy was friendly and helpful. Clean facilities.
Scored 5 to deduct the things that were not so good:
We booked a river view room with balcony and envisioned sitting overlooking the river but we had not expected the river to be located the other side of a busy and noisy road
Breakfast was very average and despite our special request for gluten free options, no effort was made to accommodate this
Staff were indifferent and did not appear to enjoy working at the hotel - (pool man excluded)
No a/c areas to sit other than your bedroom
Room layout was awkward meaning one of us had to squeeze past the sofa to get into bed
