Situated in Point Loma, this attractive house for $550 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Family friendly getaway! Experience true Southern California San Diego living. The character and charm of this beautiful 1927 Spanish Mission home is only surpassed by its location in the highly coveted quiet neighborhood of Point Loma near the airport, MCRD, Liberty Station, downtown, the beaches and local attractions. You will love staying at this beautiful property. The beauty of the home is complemented by the tropical courtyard where you can sit under the giant palm trees, sip a glass of wine and warm yourself beside the fire pit. The kitchen is NOT included with the property, but world-renowned Stone Brewery and countless other restaurants are walking distance from the house. Eat out, carry out or order in. Liberty Station, one of San Diego's city parks, is directly across the street. The park has a running path where paddle boards and kayaks can be rented and fronts the canal that opens up into the bay. Point Loma's famous green parrots can be seen hanging out in the palms from time to time. Such a cute home. Fabulous location for our needs. Great community with the owner. The courtyard is beautiful and we had so much fun hanging out at the property.

Really, everything we hoped for and more! The house was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped. The dining room has everything you need for eating light meals and take out. Also wine glasses and wine opener supplied! The frig was stocked with water bottles and ice in the freezer. Also water and facial tissues bed side was a nice touch. I can't decide if the outdoor patio or the Bryan (the Host) was the crowning jewel. Both were outstanding. The photos are on point of what the property has to offer. Looking forward to a return visit.

This was the perfect place to stay for our group, the owners did a wonderful job decorating and making the home a welcome place you want to stay at. The patio was beautifully put together and the whole group enjoyed relaxing in the mornings and evenings out there.

You will not find a better host than this one. Extremely accommodating, friendly and really truly wants you to have a stress free time at this property. The pictures do this house no justice. Very warm and inviting, decorated cozy and well. Description is accurate. Had a lovely time here.

Great Thanksgiving Vacation
My family and I rented out The Big Pink for Thanksgiving week. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming and always checked in to see that we were having a good time or needed anything.
We were made aware that there was no kitchen, which was fine as we ate out most of the time on vacation. The location is central to so much of what we like to do while in San Diego, and Liberty Station is literally just across the street. Bryan went out of his way to help when we needed a few items, and we would definitely consider staying at the property again.
Tastefully decorated and private. We never felt as if we were in someone else’s home. The home gave us a place to chill with our family all together during this time. Our hosts and their kindness are much appreciated.

The host of this property shows that he cares about your San Diego Experience! He was very helpful and had great communication. The home was lovely and very historic.
I was not aware there was not a full kitchen upon booking but it ended up being perfect! There is enough kitchen amenities (microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, Keurig, toaster) for what we needed. Many restaurants and food close by.
The owners do share the space, but I felt like they were respectful of privacy.
Overall I would recommend!

Wonderfully Relaxing Getaway
The owner was so helpful. We were met upon arrival, received a tour of the space, and provided with an explanation of the various features. The beautiful home has so much charm. It was great to soak it all in.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was because the parking left somethingto be desired. There is space for 2 cars directly in front along the curb (no driveway), however you're at the mercy of others that may also be visiting neighbors. That was the case with us. Another car took up one of the spaces the entire weekend. If your group needs more than one parking space it could be tricky.

BEAUTFIUL HOME / MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
Me and my partner had an AMAZING time at this property hosted by Bryan and Annie. We did not expect to walk in such a beautiful home. The amount of space that was offered was more than we needed. Not only was the house more than we expected, but the owners were beyond nice. They were attentive to all our needs and made sure we were happy with our stay! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts! Hope to stay again soon!

Lovely thanksgiving stay
Wonderful experience at the Big Pink! Bryan and Annie were so easy to communicate with and so accommodating! From parking to new propane tanks for the outside heaters they were on top of it. Such a fun stay. More than enough room for a family of 6. Loved spending time outside on the patio. Great location in Point Loma!

Grand home is older 1927 renovated with what must be many fine decorations garnered over a Navy Captain's 30 year career. Unfortunately we were too busy to get to know well the owners who must have many good stories. Large first class patio with a friendly cat. House does not have a kitchen to use, but there is a very comfortable living room, dining room, refrig/freezer, and cocktail bar/sink. Was not a problem for us. Bedrooms are large and very comfortable.
