Nestled in Colorado Springs, this charming condo for $56 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Summary: This bright and cozy 450 sqft basement studio apartment backs up to a natural space that often attracts local wildlife and has easy access to shopping and the interstate. The windows are above grade so they let in lots of light and you can see the landscape outside. This apartment can accommodate 2-4 people, as it has a queen bed and a queen air mattress. The Space: The kitchen is stocked with utensils, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and hotplate (but no stove/oven). We're about 1/4 mile away from a trailhead to Pulpit Rock, which offers incredible panoramic views of the entire mountain range; we definitely recommend this short (but moderately difficult) hike. Centrally located: - 5 to 10 minutes from theater and restaurants/shopping - 10 minutes from Air Force Academy South Entrance - 15 minutes to Downtown Colorado Springs - 20 minutes to Garden of the Gods - 25 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport Guest Access: You'll have full access to the entire apartment. There is a (fairly steep) gravel pathway down to the front door, but it can be a bit difficult to back down or up again with a car so please park on the street, due to a city ordinance this is required. We are located on a cul-de-sac so please be respectful of our neighbors when parking (also in general). The Neighborhood: The Pulpit Rock neighborhood is an established neighborhood with lots of large trees. It's secluded but central We're a short 5 minute walk to the entrance to Pulpit Rock Open Space. Getting Around: You'll be centrally located less than 5 minutes from either I-25 or Academy (major north/south roads) with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. off of both. This is a suburban home so a car is going to be your best mode of transportation (true for most of Colorado Springs). Other Things to Note: This unit has a private entrance down behind the house. From the front of the house, you go right down the gravel path. Permit #: 0161 Interaction with Guests: We live upstairs, but generally you won't see us unless you'd like to. We are available via messages or phone/text to help with anything you need.

Apartment was clean with most utilities I needed for my stay, including washer and dryer. Short drive to Manitou and Pikes Peak. Felt peace of mind knowing that Ryan and family live right above and were there to assist in anything I needed during my stay. Quiet and safe neighborhood also made me feel at home. I will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area. Thank you!

Our stay was perfect! The location was great. It was a wonderful place for our vacation- we were tourists all day, sun up to sun down. And your place made a great evening chill zone that allowed us to recharge for the next day. The description of place is accurate. No complaints.

Avoid this dump at all cost! Insufficient bedding, insufficient towels. The towels that were there were left a soggy mess for me to spin and dry myself. Had to literally go buy bedding and towels. Passive aggressive little notes everywhere about the "rules." You must ask "permission" to throw away your trash. Listed as suitable for 4 ppl (absolutely not) and after you book you receive an email stating suitable for 2 really. Air mattresses instead of the pictured futon which btw deflates in the middle of the night and had no bedding. It was a cold miserable, regrettable experience. Property manager ignored my inquiry as to why property was not as advertised. Vrbo requested a refund on my behalf for the lengthy stay I had booked and they refused to refund. I was willing to pay for the days I stayed even and vrbo suggested i request a refund for the entire stay. Much obliged and appreciative of that decent customer service. They also told them they falsely advertised and must update their listing. I spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this of my vacation time. As if that wasn't enough had two people trying to get into the apartment not identifying themselves and repeatedly trying to open the door, shaking the handle etc. Finally determined they were misdirected guests(not surprising) however it was very alarming as a single mom with children, had no idea who they were. Advice avoid this place at all costs. Miserable experience followed by atrocious customer service.

We could have stayed in a hotel that provided free breakfast right by the interstate, but the allure of staying in a place more serene won out in the end. We've stayed in VRBOs in many locations as far away as Israel and as near as Colorado Springs, and my suggestion is to always do your homework. If you have questions, satisfy them before you book. We had zero issues with this comfy efficiency. We knew that there would be signs of life from above, and personally, I relished that! Sometimes, it's good to know that you are not alone in this world. We stayed for four nights, and I pre-made all of our meals and froze them all (except breakfast) before we arrived. The small fridge was adequate for our needs. The hot plate and microwave were quite adequate for preparing breakfast and reheating the other meals. The evenings and nights were always quiet. When we visit Colorado Springs next time, we will definitely look at staying at this place again!!

Found this place last minute and couldn’t be happier. Great location and a cozy place. Had not a need for anything. Perfect for a couple or a small family or, like me, by yourself. Recommend 10 out of 10. Hope to be back.

This was a lovely property and worked for our needs. There was only one bed (queen) but we were able to use the provided air mattress so what we could each have our own space. The owners were very attentive and helpful with our needs. Overall was a great experience.

Great space and location. Excellent communication with host. We loved being so close to Trader Joes for healthy meal options. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer since we had to extend our stay by 2 days. LOVE the backyard. About 20 minutes to the main attractions (Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods)

Clean and quiet extra-large studio in a great location! Close to restaurants, grocery stores, hiking, and the interstate. The studio apartment is spacious and equipped with everything you need. The Host had great communication too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. They had everything (except Ice for a cooler) that we needed and did not know that we needed. We just really used as a place to sleep as we explored Colorado Springs. Lots of room and very clean and comfy. Very nice neighborhood and great communication.
