The breakfast was amazing, changed up a little bit each day but was amazing mix of traditional and western breakfast
The staff were super friendly and dropped us off at the slopes each morning

The owners went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. Super clean & comfortable rooms. Nice onsen for post ski recovery. Amazing generous Japanese breakfasts varied daily. Nice heated ski storage. The hotel offered a morning shuttle to 3 different mountains & easy free shuttle access from resort bus to return to 50 meters from hotel. A little convenience store at top of road for snacks & drinks. The hotel was able to organize return shipping of skis & bags ( keep the plastic covers that were used to ship them up from airport luggage service) I will definitely stay here again.
Nothing to do with the property but challenging to get restaurant access as large lines or all booked out in advance.

The couple that ran the property were kind and generous with their time. We had a lovely Japanese breakfast each morning and they offered a shuttle service to the slopes each morning.

Owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also good. Location is relatively central and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
The carpet and the stools in the room were very old and dirty. The en-suite bathroom was so cold that it was hard to use. Sometimes, the old gas heater rattled in the middle of the night and there was no heating in the bedroom during the day.
