Dit hotel is goed aan te rijden, heeft voldoende gratis parkeerplaatsen en ligt op 5 minuten lopen van metrolijn U1. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam en had goede tips.
In de beschrijving staat dat het hotel een 'badestrand' heeft. Dit is echter alleen maar een plankier aan het water.

Zdecydowanie polecam Strandhotel Alte Donau! Hotel ma świetną lokalizację — w spokojnej i zielonej okolicy, tuż przy Starym Dunaju, a jednocześnie z bardzo dobrym dojazdem metrem do centrum Wiednia. To idealne miejsce zarówno na zwiedzanie miasta, jak i odpoczynek po całym dniu.
Pokoje są bardzo czyste, zadbane i komfortowe. Śniadania smaczne, świeże i urozmaicone, a obsługa niezwykle miła, pomocna i profesjonalna. Dużym atutem jest kameralna atmosfera oraz możliwość relaksu nad wodą. Hotel doskonale sprawdził się również jako baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Wiednia na rowerach.
