This stay was one of our favorites! The staff were so lovely with offering shuttle service and were so generous! Such a neat space tucked back in the woods:) the near by sushi restaurant was also very good!
The beds were very hard but this would be the only downside!

I came for the Fuji 5 Lakes Ultra. As there is no hotel plan available for overseas runners, I have to find a hotel closest to the start line so that I can walk to the start in the early morning. To my surprise, the lodge owner offered a ride to me which helped me greatly. Much appreciated.
I can't think of any for the moment.

Quiet setting, good breakfast, very friendly hosts, free use of city bicycles, laundrymat close by.
Nice outdoor hot tub/Jacuzzi
The location is slightly out of town, but the hosts offer to drive you into town or local restaurants and pick you up so it wasn't a problem. This wasn't really a negative but just to make you aware that it is not in the center of town.
