Cozy little hotel in a very central and appealing position. You should choose this structure for position alone: the view of the city center at night was really stunning, and you could get to Bascarsija in less than 5 minutes on foot.
All rooms are no-pet and non-smoking, and here this policy is really enforced (unlike many other public spaces in Bosnia)
The room had big ceiling windows that we kept open at night rather than using air conditioning.
A boiler was provided in the room together with tea and coffee, sugar and honey. We did not get the continental breakfast but rather made our own in the room, very satisfyingly. Overall, great value for money.
Maintenance of the facilities could be better: several elements of the furniture were broken or malfunctioning. The fridge in the room did not keep cool, and some electrical sockets were popping off the wall at times. This only marginally inconvenienced us, but it's a pity that such a beautiful hotel is kept in such bad shape!

The hotel was clean, rooms were well appointed. Short walk to the main streets.
No lift, thus for rooms on upper floors, you need to carry yr luggage. The hotel has no parking in front of it...so yr drop offs are further down the road or opposite.
Unfortunately we checked in on the same day as some municipal water repairs and there was zero water on arrival...not even to flush, shower or even drink. However the hotel offered to reimburse our expenses for bottled water but we had to purchase it ourselves.
Once the water availability was resolved we ran into issues with no hot water and that needed more intensive repairs so we had no hot showers until night of day 2...but the hotel reimbursed 1 night of what we paid so atleast it helped redeem the situation.
The reception is manned for only few hours in the day so it felt like there was no one who was in charge....there is whatsapp communication with a remote hotel desk.

The hotel is quite close to the Old Town, which was convenient for sightseeing. The room itself was decent in size, and the location was one of the main positives of the stay.
Unfortunately, our stay did not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. We booked a taxi through the hotel for 4 people with 3 large suitcases, but a very small car arrived, making the journey extremely cramped and uncomfortable. On arrival, the receptionist was unfriendly and unwelcoming, and customer service throughout the stay was poor. There is no lift, which made it very difficult to carry our luggage upstairs, especially as I was travelling with my two elderly parents, and no one offered to help. The hotel is also located on a steep hill, so it is not ideal for older guests or anyone with mobility issues.
The room had several maintenance issues, including a very creaky bed, broken curtains and a leaking shower. We reported the curtains three times and were told they would be fixed, but nothing was done. Reception was often unattended whenever we needed assistance or wanted to pay the city tax, which was frustrating, and the reception area also had no air conditioning.
