We liked everything, the location was perfect, literally on the ski tracks, the personnel was really welcoming, food was great, room was comfortable and the view was amazing.
We didn't like just one thing, we reserved a room with the balcony but we got the room without balcony which surprised us.

The location could not be better. The hotel is literally positioned in the middle of the ski run, which makes skiing extremely convenient and enjoyable. The staff were excellent on a daily basis throughout our stay. Food quality was good overall. The buffet selection in the hotel was somewhat basic and limited, but the quality of the food itself was consistently good. Food ordered from the next door restaurant menu was excellent and genuinely enjoyable, and it should be noted that the restaurant is part of the same hotel operation, with staff rotating between the hotel and the restaurant on a daily basis. Skiing itself was great, and the convenience factor is high. Ski passes can be purchased directly in the hotel lobby, and hotel guests receive a discount, which is a nice touch. Guests also receive a small daily discount at a nearby restaurant that offers live music on weekends. While the discount is a fixed amount rather than a percentage, it is still a welcome benefit.
There was no security provided for the ski equipment locker room. Inside, there was only a written warning stating that guests leave their equipment at their own risk. This could easily be improved with basic lockers or even simple chains with locks, which would be both convenient and inexpensive. I have attached photos of the ventilator in our bathroom, which was covered in what appears to be years’ worth of accumulated dust. The shower “doors” were actually old-style plastic shower curtains, the kind you might expect to find decades ago. They dragged inside the shower itself, which is extremely unhygienic and unpleasant. Upon entering the hotel lobby, there was a noticeable foul smell of old, stagnant air. Overall, the impression was that even small investments in maintenance and guest comfort are not a priority. Another major inconvenience is that cash is essentially useless on the mountain unless you visit establishments not owned by the hotel. Both the hotel and the nearby restaurant, which are owned by the same group, refuse to accept cash and insist on card payments only or on loading cash onto a ski pass. This level of control over payments feels excessive and creates unnecessary inconvenience, particularly for guests who want to tip staff who clearly work hard and deserve recognition. Additionally, on average only around 50% of the ski lifts were operational during our stay. Lift operations appear to depend on daily crowd size, meaning that if there are “too few” skiers, certain lifts are simply not opened. This is particularly concerning given that the same ownership group also controls the ski lift operations. Overall, the ownership and operational approach feels overly controlling and heavily profit-driven. That said, they undeniably own some amazing assets located on a truly beautiful mountain.

Perfect location, ski in ski out hotel. The hotel is very cozy and the staff welcoming.
The options at both breakfast and dinner could have been a bit better.
