About this condo rental

Situated in Bradenton Beach, this attractive condo for $127 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This condo first floor (US), ground floor (UK)has had major improvements! The condo was completely remodeled in 2013 including the kitchen, with brand new dishwasher, stove, sink with food disposal, new stone counter tops and furniture. The remodelled bathroom features a large walk-in shower, new (higher level) sanitary ware and is newly tiled. There is a new washer-dryer, one of the few one bedroom condos with this facility. The entire condo has been re-decorated with new sofa and living room furniture including a new flat screen TV. The bedroom (with a king size bed) overlooks the fountain in the lake and sliding doors open out to the outdoor area. There is generous wardrobe space between the bedroom and the bathroom. The living room also has sliding doors to the outdoor area.Flooring has been replaced in May 2017. Free internet and phone calls to cell and landlines in US and Canada. The pool at Runaway Bay is the largest pool on the island and is complete with loungers and umbrellas. There are many beautiful golf courses . Anna Maria Island is far removed from the over commercialised area of Florida and has a relaxed atmosphere; the Island and Islanders are extremely warm and welcoming. An unforgettable holiday. The gorgeous sandy Gulf of Mexico beach is across the road with Runaway Bay's own private access. Runaway Bay complex has a tennis court, exercise room, shuffleboard, picnic tables and a fishing pier into the Bay of Sarasota. Anna Maria is less than 60 miles from Tampa International Airport and less than 15 miles from Sarasota Airport

The king size bed mattress is shot. There was an ant infestation that took 5 days to get pest control to service the property and still did not resolve the problem. Cupboard doors need replacing, they move poorly. Location was good.

The unit is toward the back of the complex, so it was a bit of a walk to the pool or beach, but we were not able to enjoy the beach due to red tide. The air at the pool made us cough as well, due to the breeze from the ocean, but it was a large pool with plenty of loungers. A smart tv or Roku would be a nice addition for this unit as only basic cable was available. The king size bed was very comfortable. It was a plus to have a washer and dryer.

We really enjoyed our stay at Runaway Bay. It was quiet and had great access to the beach. We had a problem with the washing machine and the property manager had it fixed as soon as possible.

We loved the condo & proximity to bay & beach! We had a little hiccup with internet, but we were able to remedy it by day 3. Two things we think would make it a 5 star condo: A nice pillow top mattress A large smart tv-we had some rainy days & we’re unable to access Netflix. I know this is not a big issue, I’m just saying it would’ve been nice. Overall, it’s a wonderful condo for 2 people! Thank you for allowing us to stay, you were a joy to work with!

This unit was perfect. Clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was close to restaurants and many area attractions as well as a short walk to the beach and Gulf. The owners are awesome and the unit was well stocked with coolers, beach chairs, towels and more. I would definitely rent again!

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner has provided excellent cooking utensils. There are many good restaurants near the condo and a Publix is just down the street. The beach across the street is very nice with easy access, and the view of the Intracoastal just east of the property, along with a fishing pier, is great.

The location of this property is ideal. Easy access to the beach and a nice common area deck overlooking the bay. Short walk to several restaurants and short drives to nature areas or other beaches. Enjoyed the pickle ball court. Condo was comfortable but could use some upgrades (sliding doors were a struggle, low pressure on kitchen faucet, bathroom is dated). All appliances worked well, and it was great to have a washer/dryer. Would definitely stay here again.

I got to treat my husband of 2 months to my little slice of heaven. He absolutely loved it. We actually extended our stay by one day. Andrea was so accommodating. I have been going to AMI for 30 years. We will be back! I highly recommend this property

The beautiful condo had all the things we needed and more to make our holiday a wonderful relaxing experience. I would certainly return again and recommend this to our friends and family! Andrea, the owner was fantastic with giving us information about things to do and wonderful and fun restaurants. She let us know that if ever we had a question or problem to let her know and she would take care of it. Of course all was perfect and we had no need to contact her during our stay!

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed in this condo and we can’t wait to return! The proximity to the beach is incredible and the unit is very clean and well maintained. The living room gets sun in the morning making it a perfect place to drink coffee and ease into the day. The patio faces west and we enjoyed several evenings playing cards and sharing drinks while the sun set. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the use of all of the beach chairs and towels. It was very helpful and a welcomed sight when we found the closest. The floors are perfect for a beach house and we loved the proximity. We will definitely visit again!

The condo is perfectly suited to folks who love the beach! The locale is great, the decor is "beachy", the supplies leave nothing forgotten ( linens, beach toys, kitchen necessities). The wifi is most appreciated; just log in and you're all set. The condo is immaculate. The pool is also lovely, but we prefer the beach so did not make use of it. The pier overlooking Tampa Bay is a beautiful spot, a one minute walk from the condo. We will surely return.

Runaway Bay is a well kept condo development in a great area of Anna Maria Island close to the beach and many restaurants. It has a warm and very clean and large salt water pool with updated pool furniture. Andrea, the owner of this unit was absolutely amazing to deal with. Her condo is updated and has every amenity that you need. Andrea's emails were answered promptly, she offered advice for the area and even mailed us local information. We would stay at this unit any time in the future.

This condo was just as pictured. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It has everything you need. The beach is located across the street. The unit is situated toward the back of the complex so we opted to drive to the beach, but it is only about a 10+ minute walk. The pool is absolutely wonderful with plenty of chairs available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
