Most of it
There was a fire in the hotel , we were having dinner and the lights started flashing. This went on for about 15 minutes. Everyone kept on eating and nobody came into the restaurant to tell us anything . My partner and myself left the restaurant to go to get changed to go out, and walked into the reception area and up the stairs to get ready for our night out. Once we got to the room we looked out from the balcony and there was a crowd shouting the hotels on 🔥 fire. We hurried back down the stairs and out of the building.
The fire service arrived and put the fire out. We stood outside for about 5 hours until we were let back into the hotel and went to bed .
Our first day/ night was ruined but it's one of those things but the hotel didn't have an audible alarm , the staff need training on the importance of getting guests out quicker and informing them , and no information was given on how things were progressing.
If this has happened in the early hours it could have been a lot more serious ☹️☹️
