Having the opportunity to stay In many similar hotels and castles around Europe I can confirm that Grandhotel Pupp ranks within the top 3.
Apart from amazing architecture, attention to detail is what sets this hotel apart.Attentivness , politeness and friendliness of the staff throughout our 5 night stay was consistent, which suggests good training and supervision as well as willingness to deliver a memorable stay.
My wife left a broken bracelet, and they got in touch with us in order to ask what we want to do with the item.
Breakfast was brilliant, served in a grand hall, but you could have chosen another grand room in case you got bored.Items were great quality and often replenished all the way up to 11am.
Service in the grand bar was absolutely brilliant no waiting drinks were arriving just at the right time.
We dined in the steak house which was great dinner and service too.
Room had great view and was recently refurbished and well appointed.
Hotel Pupp lived to it's reputation.
We will definitely come back again!
The spa area was too small for such a big hotel, and even though there was a sign that kids weren't allowed there were kids present in the area for adults only.
Small bumps with breakfast service/not all staff attentive ,and the bathroom was a bit outdated compared to the rest of the room.

This hotel is exquisite. Simply stunning and beautiful. The beds were very comfy and the sheets were divine! The bathroom was state of the art with heated floors, double sinks, dyson hairdryer, etc. Our room was very quiet with the most incredible views. The spa was a lovely addition. Breakfast was fantastic.
Truthfully it was magical, but if I had to pick out one thing it was that the steam room was incredibly disappointing. It was not steamy. A steam room should be so steamy that you can barely see each other. Their steam room was lukewarm and well, I make more steam boiling potatoes for dinner at home. Their pool is also not as hot as they say. They post that it's 29 degrees but it's more like 22...a bit chilly anyway, but the pool has incredible jets.
