Very friendly & accommodating front desk manager. Excellent location near the main train station with quick access to the airport. I was very happy to stay here on a long layover in Zurich. Additionally its a great base in the center to walk around the tourist area of Zurich! I will stay here again on future trips to Zurich!

Hotels in Zurich are expensive; I chose the Hotel Arlette as it was a better price for me, and very near the railway station. I knew it was quite an old-fashioned place from the photos, but honestly I was so impressed. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful, the room was absolutely spotless with everything you could need, including air conditioning, a safe, a luggage rack and a hairdryer. The shower was powerful and hot. The hotel is a stone's throw from both the station and the city centre, I walked everywhere whilst I was there. I highly recommend this hotel for a simple, clean, pleasant stay.

The location is perfect. Staff are friendly and hotel is very clean.
The new owners have outsourced the breakfast to the cafe next door. The breakfast now consists of a choice of one croissant and one bread or two croissants or Two bread rolls. A TEASPOON of jam and a small cube of butter. Scrambled eggs and 2 cups of coffee. I don’t eat eggs so I got one croissant and a bread roll. Very poor breakfast and it doesn’t even come with a smile!
