I liked everything about this hotel, from the history to the evening Chopin recital. The location couldn’t be better, on a quiet street about 10 mins walk from Royal Street and the old town. It’s also a 10 minute tram from central station. It’s excellent for getting around the city. The bed was comfortable and the room had black out curtains. The furniture is period and adds to the overall aesthetic.

A quirky boutique hotel with a 1930s theme. Really interesting furniture and memorabilia through.
Large room with a very deep lion paw bath. Comfortable super king bed and tea making facilities (important for Brits!). The Chopin concert (£14pp) was superb with Thuy Melissa Dao (included a glass of wine!). Dinner in their restaurant was also superb. We had the Romantic Chopin fixed 4 course with Mumm champagne (£36pp).
